1937 yılında Eskişehir’de doğdu. Sinemaya bir Artist dergisinin açtığı yarışma sonucunda girdi (1964). Karate filmlerinin, polisiye ve tarihsel filmleri en tutulan oyuncusu oldu. Bir ara Şahin adlı filmle de yönetmenliği denedi (1976).
Önemli filmleri: Gurbet Kuşları (Halit Refiğ), Yaralı Kurt (Lütfi Ö. Akad), Maden (Yavuz Özkan), Cemil (Melih Gülgen).
